2018年8月27日，舒展大使到访云南大学非洲研究中心。舒展大使曾是中国驻厄立特里亚大使、驻卢旺达大使，从事数十年的对非外交工作，有着扎实的专业知识和丰富的实践经验。

舒展大使结合自身多年外交工作经验，以“如何做好非洲学术研究”为主题，娓娓道来，幽默风趣，形象生动地为中心师生带来了一场别开生面学术讲座。

舒展大使认为学术研究要具备严谨、认真的学术意识，要采用实地调研、细致入微的研究方法。在研究非洲问题时，要多关注非洲人的观点、想法，不应过多依赖欧美的观点和资料。

讲座结束后，舒展大使对师生提出的问题做出了耐心细致的回答，参会者都表示受益匪浅、收获颇丰。

The Ambassador Shu Zhan Visits CASYNU

On August 27, 2018, the Ambassador Shu Zhan, who used to be the Ambassador of China to Eritrea and Rwanda, visited the Center for African Studies of Yunnan University. He has been engaged in diplomatic work in China-Africa relations for decades, with solid professional knowledge and rich practical experience.

The Ambassador combined his many years of diplomatic work experience and made an academic lecture on the theme of “How to Do a Good Job in African Academic Studies”.

He believes that academic research must have a rigorous and serious academic awareness, and it is necessary to adopt field research and nuanced research methods. When studying African issues, we should pay more attention to the views and ideas of Africans and should not rely too much on the views and information of Europe and the United States.

After the lecture, the ambassador made a patient and meticulous answer to the questions. The participants said they have benefited a lot.
