12月19日，电子科技大学西非研究中心主任赵蜀蓉教授到访云南大学非洲研究中心，并与中心师生座谈。

座谈会上，赵蜀蓉教授介绍了西非研究中心的基本情况，主要包括该中心的人才培养、学术交流、智库服务以及其研究成果等。张永宏教授向赵蜀蓉教授介绍了云大非洲中心的基本情况，以及中心主要研究的方向与特色，并表示应加强双方的交流与合作。

在交流中，双方都表示要加强两个中心之间的全方位交流合作，优势互补，共同为中国的非洲研究努力。

电子科技大学西非研究中心成立于2017年4月，是由电子科技大学与加纳大学、加纳海岸角大学、加纳行政管理学院、加纳温尼巴教育大学、加纳发展大学共同筹建的特色研究中心。着力打造“1+1+1”中非合作模式，即一个人才培养基地，一个学术文化交流平台，一个西非问题研究“智库”。目前，该中心在国内外已经具有越来越突出的影响力。赵蜀蓉教授的到访必将能够有力推动两家机构的全方位合作。

the Director of Center for West African Studies of UESTC Visits CASYNU

On December of 19, professor Zhao Shurong, the Director of Center for West African Studies(CWAS) of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC), visited the Center for African Studies of Yunnan University(CASYNU) and had a discussion with the teachers and students of the CASYNU.

At the discussion, professor Zhao Shurong introduced the basic situation of the CWAS, including its talent training, academic exchanges, think tank services and research results. Professor Zhang Yonghong, the Director of CASYNU, introduced the basic state, the main research and the research characteristics of CASYNU, and indicated that exchanges and cooperation between two institutes should be strengthened.

During the discussion, both institutes pledged to strengthen all-round exchanges and cooperation to promote China’ s African studies.

CWAS was established in April 2017. It is a characteristic studies center jointly established by UESTC, University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, University of Education, University for Development Studies. CWAS creates “1+1+1” new model of a Talent Training Base, a high level Academic &Cultural Exchange Platform and a featured top class Think Thank for West African Studies.
