2019年7月18日，应驻肯尼亚经商处郭策参赞邀请，正在肯执行云南大学“海外中国企业营商环境和东道国员工综合调查”项目的张佳梅老师一行，拜访了驻肯尼亚经商处，与郭策参赞、张红秘书等领导和专家进行座谈，就肯尼亚国情及课题相关内容进行了深入交流。

座谈会上，郭策参赞首先对张佳梅老师一行的来访表示热烈欢迎，并高度评价了此次调研活动。他指出此次调研是高校中在肯尼亚历时时间最长、学生人数最多的一次，并对课题组的调研工作进行了肯定。张佳梅老师详细介绍了此次调研的背景、主要内容、活动及进展，特别就调研中驻肯经商处、中资企业和商会给予的巨大帮助表达感谢。师生还就肯尼亚政治、经济形势、中资企业社会责任、肯尼亚本土人才培养、肯尼亚留学生等问题向郭策参赞、张红秘书等请教并进行了深入交流。郭参赞务实的态度、睿智的见解、幽默风趣的谈吐获得了师生一致好评。

最后，郭策参赞表达了对这次调研的期冀和厚望，并表示欢迎更多的国内学子走进肯尼亚，扎根非洲，为中肯、中非关系的友好、深入发展贡献智慧和力量。

On July 18, 2019, at the invitation of Counsellor Guo Ce of the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Embassy of China in the Republic of Kenya, Ms. Zhang Jiamei and the team, who was carrying out the project “Comprehensive Survey of Business Environment and Host country employees of overseas Chinese Enterprises” of Yunnan University, visited the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Embassy of China in the Republic of Kenya. The team had a discussion with Counsellor Guo Ce, Secretary Zhang Hong and other leaders and experts, and had in-depth exchanges on the national conditions and relevant contents of the project in Kenya.

At the forum, Counsellor Guo Ce first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Zhang Jiamei and his entourage, and spoke highly of the research activities. He pointed out that the survey was the longest in Kenya and the largest number of students in colleges and universities, and affirmed the research work of the research group. Ms. Zhang Jiamei gave a detailed introduction to the background, main contents, activities and progress of the survey, especially for the great help provided by the Chinese Business Office, Chinese enterprises and chambers of commerce. Teachers and students also consulted and exchanged in depth with Counsellor Guo Ce and Secretary Zhang Hong on the political and economic situation in Kenya, the social responsibility of Chinese enterprises, the training of local talents in Kenya, and the study of Kenyan students. Counsellor Guo’ s pragmatic attitude, wise opinions and humorous and witty speech have been well received by teachers and students.

Finally, Counsellor Guo Ce expressed his expectations and high hopes for the survey, and welcomed more domestic students to enter Kenya and take root in Africa, so as to contribute wisdom and strength to the friendly and in-depth development of Sino-African relations.
