The Researcher of Yunnan University Center of African Studies were invited to attend “Conference on Africa: 54 Countries, One Union--- Integration and Infrastructure”

        On October 24 to 25, 2013, Doctor Liang yijian was invited to attend  “Conference on Africa: 54 Countries, One Union--- Integration and Infrastructure”, which was held in Beijing. The conference was hosted jointly by the Institute of West Asian and African Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the International Foundation of Cooperation,  Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University. The conference aims to discuss African countries how to solve the major problems facing Africa’s development and security through the regional and sub-regional economic integration, especially through infrastructure construction, and what role the international society can play in promoting the situation.
