11月22日，吉布提大学（University of Djibouti）校长伽马·莫哈迈德·哈桑博士（Dr. Djama Mohamed Hassan）和工学院院长一行到访云南大学。

云南大学张克勤副校长亲切接见哈桑校长一行，并就两校合作达成广泛共识。

随后，哈桑校长一行访问云南大学非洲研究中心，并与中心师生座谈。

座谈会上，中心主任张永宏教授向来宾介绍了中心的基本情况，介绍了中心的主要研究方向和研究特色，并希望双方在人文交流及文化教育方面开展相应的合作。

汉森校长对云南大学的热情接待表示衷心感谢，对双方在人文交流领域的合作表现出浓厚的兴趣，并对中心即将到吉布提开展课题调研的团队表示欢迎和支持。

吉布提共和国位于非洲东部，是一带一路沿线的重要节点国家。吉布提大学是吉布提共和国唯一的一所高校。

The President of Djibouti University Visits CASYNU

On November of 22, the President of Djibouti University Dr. Djama Mohamed Hassan and College of Engineering Dean visited Yunnan University.

Zhang Keqin, the Vice President of Yunnan University, warmly met with the President Hassan and his group. They reached consensus on the cooperation between the two universities.

Subsequently, the President Hassan visited the Center for African Studies of Yunnan University(CASYNU) and had a discussion with the teachers and students of the center.

At the discussion, Professor Zhang Yonghong, the Director of CASYNU, introduced the basic state, the main research and the research characteristics of CASYNU. He hoped that both of the universities could cooperate in the fields of People-to-People exchange and cultural education.

The President Hansen expressed his thanks to the Yunnan University for the warm reception and expressed strong interest in the cooperation between two universities in the fields of People-to-People exchange and cultural education. At the same time, he said that he would welcome and support the research team from CASYNU to conduct field investigations in Djibouti.
