2019年1月17日，应达累斯萨拉姆大学中国研究中心莫西教授邀请，坦桑尼亚调研组李湘云一行访问了达累斯萨拉姆大学。

莫希教授对李湘云老师一行的来访表示了热烈欢迎。他简要介绍了中国研究中心的基本情况，希望与云南大学非洲研究中心开展科研项目合作。李湘云老师代表非洲研究中心对莫西教授表示感谢。双方就调研组实地调研的目的、方式进行了深入地讨论；此外，双方就两个研究中心下一步的合作，达成初步共识。

On January 17, 2019, Dr. Li Xiangyun and members of Tanzanian research team visited Dar es Salaam University at the invitation of Professor Mossi, Dean of  Center for Chinese Studies of the University.

Professor Mossi expressed a warm welcome to Ms. Li and her team. He briefly introduced the Center for Chinese Studies and expressed his hope to cooperate with the Center for African Studies of Yunnan University for more scientific research projects. On behalf of the Center for African Studies, Ms. Li expressed her gratitude to Professor Mossi. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the purpose and method for the field research of the research group. In addition, the two sides also reached preliminary consensus on further cooperation between the two research centers.
